The investigation of influence of paint coatings on structure vibrations

The paper examines the vibration velocity of a circular plate. Layers of paint were applied successively, the weight of the paint coating was measured and the effect of the thickness of the coating layers on the speed and amplitude of structure vibrations were tested. Differences in the vibration speed caused by the presence of the paint coating were noted. With the next layer of varnish, the resonance value of the plate shifts towards higher frequencies.
